The large copper surface area of this copper dome acts as a catalyst with the vapor in the still and help to enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas during the process.
It can also help remove unwanted sulfur compounds which results in a smoother richer, sweeter tasting spirit.Please note that copper is a very soft metal and can be dented quite easily. Store and use with care.
