    "Pomona Ale" (hazy ale) is a modern beer style characterized by tropical fruit aromas, low bitterness and velvety texture. The use of oat flakes and wheat malt gives it a thick, cloudy appearance, while the heavy hopping creates a juicy, citrusy flavor. This beer is extremely easy and refreshing to drink.

     

    With this kit you will make 24 liters of beer.

     

    Original gravity (OG) – 1.050-1.055

    Final gravity (FG) – 1.008-1.012

    Alcohol content about 5.4%

    Color about 7 EBC

    Bitterness about 23 IBU

    Fermentation time about 7 - 10 days. Fermentation temperature. 18-22 C.

    We recommend aging the beer in bottles for 3-4 weeks.

     

    The set includes:

    Fermented materials:

    4.5 kg "Best Heidelberg malt;

    0.5 kg "Best Wheat" malt;

    0.5 kg "Best Chit" malt;

    0.5 kg flaked oats.

     

    Hops:

    5 g "Columbus" hops, 60 min. boiling;

    50 g "Nectaron" hops, 5 min. boiling;

    50 g "Nectaron" hops (DRY HOPING AFTER 4 DAYS).

     

    Yeast:

    Dry yeast LalBrew® Pomona Ale 11 g - 1 pc.

     

    Recommended fermentation temperature:

    64C - 60 min.

    78C - 10 min.
