Mead - a fermented drink has been produced in our region for a long time. Mead comes in different strengths, made from different types of honey, unadulterated and with (herbs, oak, fruit, berries, etc.), cooked and uncooked, etc. But the most important ingredient that turns honey wort into mead is yeast. Most of the sugar in honey is fructose. In this section, we have selected those yeasts that handle fructose the easiest, thus ensuring a smooth fermentation. Nutrients also help the yeast to do its job, especially if we make a stronger mead.
