We invite you to participate in this year's "Best Brew Challenge" competition, which will be held worldwide on March 28-30.
The main conditions of this year's competition:
1. Brewed beer style: "Oatmeal Stout".
It is described as full-bodied, may have a slight sweetness, black in color. The taste is mild, often with a sweet and creamy texture. More information about the style can be found by clicking the link.
2. Malt: BEST Oat Malt must be used in the recipe.
The organizers of the competition also recommend using roasted malts from the BEST manufacturer. Recommended malts: BEST Chocolate, BEST Black and BEST Extra Black.
3. Beer must comply with the German purity law (only the following materials are used for beer production: water, malt, hops, yeast).
4. Beer (3 liters in total) must be delivered to Germany by 2025 at the latest. May 30 (We will help deliver your beer to the organizers if you wish. The competition beer of all participants must be delivered to us by May 9 at the latest.)
5. Contest beer must be more securely packed in a box and ready for shipping. A completed beer identification sheet must be attached to the beer being shipped.
Prizes:
SavasAlus.lt, everyone who registers in the form and indicates UAB Savas alus as a malt supplier, receives 1 bag of selected BEST base malt. The malt will be handed out during the beer (3 liters) delivery to the competition.
Contest organizers' prizes for all those who submitted their beer to the contest:
The winning beer will be brewed and served at the Drinktec fair in Munich. The winner will also be invited to attend (max 2 people including travel and accommodation)
2nd place: €100 voucher for shopping in the "BESTMALZ Fanshop" store or for the purchase of base malt.
3rd place: €50 coupon for shopping in the "BESTMALZ Fanshop" store or for the purchase of base malt.
1st-3rd Place: Professional Beer Analysis.
Creative prize for the BEST packaging and BEST label: €100 coupon for shopping at the "BESTMALZ Fanshop" store or for the purchase of base malt.
